83 Rare Long Track V-Max for sale
Ran her the year before last. Did the carbs last year and never finished. Got a new sled. Wife says sell both vintage Yamahas. The 83 is pretty nice. It has a long track and I had her running two years ago. Ran like a bat out of heck! Kept up with all the big boys on a 400 mile trip with no problems...

Airbox or No Airbox
What if I don't have the powerjets on my carbs??? That box is such a pain and I figure I can get a little more speed without the extra weight.

Mileage
Good question. Really depends how you ride and whether or not your track is studded. It is easier for me to say this: About 2.5 to 3 hours of average riding. If I had to guess, I would say about 100 miles.

Advice
I would immediately disable the oil injection system and mix your fuel. Loop some lines together so the oil pump just pumps round and round so you don't have to worry about it burning up. If you continue to use the oil injection system. You will burn pistons. Just a matter of time.
