not sure if they're the same or not, but my 350x honda had a high comp. wiseco piston in it, when i rebuilt it me uncle gave me a new set of oem rings and the were to thick.

but it was a 4 stroke three wheeler so it may be different with a sled

you might have to keep the stock bore, my parts guy called wiseco and they told him all oversize vmax pistons are discontinued, he said wiseco was the last to make oversize pistons

problem solved,

turns out its a tach problem, my motor doesn't sound like its idling at 3000rpm's mu i guess it is?

thanks for the help and sorry if you mentioned the tach and i said it was fine

im stumped and need help

i cant figure the clutching out on my vmax Angry it has a 108 comet clutch instead of a 102, it was all set up to 102 factory specs with A3 weights and a silver spring, with that set up it engaged at 1100rpm's i just put in a new yellow comet spring in it thats stiffer than the factory silver figuri...

pipe mods

so im getting some mildly aggressive porting done to my 87 vmax, im also gonna jet it, do a few clutch mods and run pod filters on the carbs.

if i run a piece if straight pipe off each of the stock 87 pipes how will it run? has anyone else done this?

is there anything i can do to the stock can?
