I have a complete running 83 540 I will sell you. It has a freshened ingine. New pistons, all new seals and gaskets including gear case last winter, except the water pump shaft seal that is hard to find but there is no antifreeze in the oil. Runs very well. Sled is in fair shape. Needs a seat cover ...

Don't trust any sparkplugs you've already had in it. They may look brand new and still foul out. Just put new ones in it.

I have one for the Vmax. For 8 bucks I paid it's worth printing what I need to look at.

I would be interested in skis if they are even usuable.

Also could be the floats themselves stuck or just bad.

Some times the carbs are jetted slightly differant from one side to the other. This may be one reason. Although I don't think the Vmax is. It's more common on triples.

Hi all.
New to this forum. Just bought an 83 Vmax for $100. All seems intact but will not run. I want to read as much as I can befor I start asking questions. I keep seeing referance to the "articles section". I can't find this. Does it still exist? Thanks all.
