Re: WANTED: 1982 SRX Head & Flywheel
Yes, I have contacted Jon. He said he currently does not have any but has a couple connections that may and will get back to me. I thought this would probably be the next best source to try to dig up any leads. If I can dig up a head, I will have all the parts needed to rebuild a complete motor.

WANTED: 1982 SRX Head & Flywheel
I have enough parts to piece together a 1982 SRX 500 motor with the exception of a head and flywheel. I know for sure the head is unique. Will a 1981 SRX 440 flywheel or 1983 VMAX flywheel work on this motor?
Any info and any leads on a head would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Question: 1992 V-MAX 750 100 miles
I did end up buying this sled. It is paid for but is on the west coast. I have arranged for transportation but won't see it for a couple of months. In the meantime, I picked up a very nice 1993 VMAX-4 with 900 miles on it for $1300 that has turned out to be a pleasant surprise.

Question: 1992 V-MAX 750 100 miles
I have run across a 1992 V-MAX 750 with just above 100 actual miles. It is immaculate. I know it is difficult to say but any ballpark figures on what something like this may be worth before i start to negotiate? I'm assuming that a sled like this will have collector value in the future. Let me know ...

My plan is to completely go through this sled. I have already gone through the rear skid. I replaced all 13 bearings and ordered/replaced any worn out parts with new Yamaha parts. They were not cheap. Then I have gone through the front end. Took out all the TSS bushings and greased them up and repla...

Well, the clutch is off. This was no easy project. I was at a buddies place all day working on this. First off, I must say we have been wrenching on sleds for years and my buddy is a mechanic by trade and a good one so we have a good solid knowledge base. That being said, we tried every trick that w...

Primary Clutch Bolt Snapped. Now What?????
Here's my issue. I was going to tighten up the front end on my V-Max with some tie rod ends and washers for the scissor links today. I took the side panel off on the clutch side only to find the primary clutch bolt loose then on further inspection, snapped off completely. There are a few threads lef...
