I run the gold spring in mine for 4400rpm but my uncle runs a blue spring and he gets abdout 4800 out of his.

do you do delivery?? i am very interested in these sleds cause i am restoring my 83 vmax and parts would be good to have. as far as i know 83-87 parts are interchangable. just let me know if you deliver or if you still have them.

it should fit
I have a polaris clutch on my 1983 vmax and it seems to do fine. It engages at about 4400rpm's and seems to be alot better than the stock yamaha clutch.
