what`s the carbs for the SRX 500 worth???

I think there is 5 cranks to the Vmax 540 in the garage. Most of them need to be rebuildt. They are not for sale yet. I need to build up my 3 Vmax 540 engines first before I sell any cranks.

The carbs have 8R9 00L and 8R9 00R stamped in to them. So they are SRX 500 Carbs.

Picked up the sleds yesterday and got them home. There were 2 spare Vmax 540 cylinders (i have 11 in total now) and a cyl. head, 3 cdi boxes and some other parts. There was also a set of SRX 500 carbs.

I bought both sleds and all the Yamaha sled parts he had. Now I need to drive 400 miles to pick them up. I am not shure what I will do with theese sleds. Maybe restore the 1986 Vmax, and build a vintage drag sled of the 1983 ? There were some SRX 500 (RT499) parts so maybe a SRX/Vmax clone dragsled?...

Is that the oem skis?

I saw 1 gearbox with number RT499-10102 and one with RT499-10103 yesterday I tolld the owner that I wanted to buy both his Vmax 540's and all his vmax parts. I will cal him later this week.

I was at a friend of mine today, his neighbour had some old sleds in the garage. I asked if I could take a look at his old sleds, he said yeah sure. I found one 1983 Vmax 540 in really bad shape, one 1986 in bad shape. He also had some engineparts in the garage. One case had stamped RT449-010102 and...
