Does anyone maybe have a list of the part numbers I need?
I guess I'll finish the ss440 engine so I at least have something to ride...

OK I get that but still confused...no coolant consumption...I have been watching coolant level since I bought the sled...hmm

Funny none of my other yamahas seems to lube the oil pump gear
I have been riding it like this for a while, just finally noticed...how big of a problem is this honestly

Engine sucks up gearcase oil
If I fill my gearcase with oil the sled will smoke like crazy obviously sucking it in... Once the smoking is done and its empty,if I let it run and pull the indicator out the engine rpms increase as its noticable sucking air in Whats the fix for this? I attended this event this Saturday...WOW!!! I have never seen so many vintage sled and blue smoke and braaaping in one place! I was told the sled count was around 600 vintage sleds...Unreal No wonder this is considered the biggest vintage sled gathing in the country! Had fun watching the "badd...

awesome! glad to see you finally won! so your problem was that the source coil was shorted out against the stator frame? therefore your cdi was not charging, and therefore when the pickup (pulse, trigger) coil told the CDI to fire it couldnt because it had no charge? i gotta bank the fix in my brai...

I have to give credit to my lovley wife.
She was the one who had the idea and completed the task of unplugging the wires from the cdi box 1 at a time to see if the ground circuit would drop off.

Didn't do anything after the stator repair,so just for shits and giggles I plug in the other used cdi box. I just happen to hook the ground wire up last and it snapped a little spark!!!! GOOD SIGN!!! Gave it a pull and it ran, I turned it off with the key. Turned key back on and then started it and ...
