crwdog What is your clutch engaging at? I have mine set for 4200 and it pulls hard out of the hole! Also what are you running for a belt?I always ran a Yamaha Belt until one of my friends said to try a Dayco Ultra Max. My Vmax runs faster on the Dayco Ultra Max!

Just hold on and let the Vmax loose! I wish the other racers good luck they are going to need it! Just got done putting a nice coat of wax to Maximum OverDrive. Next Saturday going to the next Radar Run!

:D Never had a problem with my Vmax! Old Maximum Overdrive alway's hauls the mail! My sled never stumbles! Just when it runs out of gas almost at the finish line :? That sucked. If you take the can off it won't run because you will change the backpressure! I don't see what all the fuss is about? I h...

So what kind of speed does the mod Vmax turn?

Maine you can't run Loud pipes on the trail. Noise is nice,but it's not Fast!! Stock pipes make's more horse power on these old Vmaxes

To avoid my thermostat issue, I removed it and just left the housing! Donnie I did the same, I havn't run a thermostat in over 11years and have never had a problem! Tim Bender told me to take the thermostat out and toss it away because I didn't need it. I just let it warm up a little longer
