Yes from what I have found out. 108 with 1 1/4 belt. Is this the way it works with this set up? What can i do to change it to run out like it should? Iam new to this.

I bought a 85 vmax this year and it back shifts (shifts out) at 7200 rpm. The belt is still about 1/2 inch from the top of the primary clutch when it shifts out. The engine just bogs out. I have 3 1985 vmax and i went to pull off the clutch on 2 of them and found 1 takes a 9/16 x 18 puller and the other takes 5/8 x 18 puller so am i right by thinking 1 is a 94c and the other is a 108? Witch one came stock on the sled when new? Witch one would be the one to use?

I just bought a 85 vmax I was told the owner use to race the sled (does show 1200 miles). I just started to go throught the sled and found that the secondary clutch is set up to free float on the shaft. Is this something that was done for racing if so can this set up be used for vintage trail rides?...
