I see you found the information on (No spark.) I'd start with cleaning all connection's, ohming out the ignition wires and checking the stator ground by unhooking all the wires to the stator, then going from the black wire leading into the stator and ground to see if there is a connection. Daily, I use calibration equipment to check accuracy and seldom see a big difference except in long term use when quality comes into play.

Take the plugs out and with ignition Off pull the rope very slowly to make sure the crankcase did not flood.

On the side is the best way and B.T.W. heat, let cool, tap with a hammer and soak with penetrating fluid is the only way to loosen the 3mm set screws in the shaft.
