HI GUYS JUST PICKED UP ANOTHER 81 SRX THIS WEEKEND THIS ONE HAS SOME KIND OF SWAY BAR ON THE FRONT. ANYONE KNOW WHAT THIS IS....THANKS EMAIL AT: krismis68@hotmail.com

The 83 vmax 's had an optional sway bar kit avalible and I also believe the 81 srx had the same . I am not sure but I think it was the one Tim Bender developed. Hope this helped .The Yamaha part # is 8u9-w0051-00-00. Jeff F

The bar is from Tim Bender! It's used for racing to stablize the front end.I have one on my 84 love it!!

I have 83 & 86 Yamaha Vmax micro fiche and it shows a sway bar under options !
