I have a 81 SRX and have heard round side carbs will make it much better.

Correct the 88 Exciters (I had a brand new 88) had the PJ Roundslides. They can be adapted to the SRX you will need the throttle block and cables from the Exciter. The skis on the Exciter have a wider mount width in which you will need small spacers so, put them on the outside you will gain ~ an inch in ski stance !

i ended up missing out on the sled.
might have found another set but not sure if they will work, here are some pictures.
