new to site, looking for a project

Hi all, first post.

Dad had a GPX 433. I have a VMax 4. Now I'm looking for a little project to build for/with my step son. I've always liked this "wedge" style so and there is one not too far away for sale so....

1. What rear skids does everyone swap in for 80/20 trail lake riding? Are they mostly Pro Action? I have seen pics of one with a '07 136" monoshock. Have swapped a SC10 into my VM4.
2. What is the ski stance width?

Stock specification are on the home page in the articles section. http://www.vintagevmax.com/main.php The original Pro-Action has been updated by many many different suspensions and yes, also by the 1996 and up newer style Pro-Action Plus. The original P.A. was very good in it's day and if in good condition with good shocks is still very capable.
