81 SRX pipes

Post by VectorBoy »

Just bought me a 81 SRX and acording to the numbers on the pipes one of them is from a 82 SRX 500 and the other one is from a 83 V-max. Are these pipes the same or are they different? :?

They are definitely all different. 8m6 is 1981, 8r9 is 1982, 8u9 is 1983. Stock pipes are as good as you can get for a stock engine.
My airbox is held on by one screw, not because Im lazy but because it is less weight!
