bought 2 vmax 540

hi all ,first post here ,purchased 2 vmax's this past weekend ,a 1983 and a 1984 both are complete sleds 83 kind of ruff 84 in pretty good shape except a couple cracks in hood by left hinge , bad is they both have mag side cylinders with no compression ,83 appears to have a aluminum jackshaft with polaris secondary and i believe a broken bender sway bar on it to ,looks different than the one on my srv .also came with a new parts unlimited cover and the 83-84 yamaha vmax service manual.i am hopeing to find some more goodies upon teardown. plan on using the 83 chassis for a srx clone i have been wanting to build ,sorry no pics tonite will add some soon , chris
