takes awhile to post?

is it taking everyone elses browser a little bit to post after they click the submit button? maybe im just used to the old forum where it was a quick snap to see what you posted and it spoiled me but it seems like it takes 5+ secs to post after i click submit.... (the reason it does this is because the forum is checking out the post extra hard for spammers before it posts it)
