anyone have exhaust connectors laying around?

Post by tfin »

I am helping a buddy repair a 1972 Sno-Jet SST 440 fan with bogies.

The stock exhaust is rusty dust. I thought of cutting and rewelding some Vmax pipes I have to match the expansion chambers used on the mod machine shown (NOT the one we are working on) or the Yamaha SS433.

Anyone have a set of the connectors that bolt to the engine laying around in a box?

I am in southern New Hampshire.

Charles:

Thank you for the offer.

I haven't decided if I can weld the old muffler or cut up and reweld the Vmax ones to fit.

I have been out of work, so I cannot have it done outside.

I am going to try some welding this weekend.

When I decide which way I am going to go, I will let you know.

I also have to make sure the connectors will fit the Y433 engine.

Talk to you soon.

Tim
