Carb Boots 1981 SRX

1981 SRX has the back rubbers that are attached on the airbox but it didn't come with the metal screw on clamps to tighten the boot to the airbox. How crucial is this? Anybody know of a good way to fix it if I don't have the clamps? Better yet, anybody have clamps??
