Hi Eric, Here is a pic out of the manual for oil pump cable adjustment. It also has the procedure for bleeding the system. It is easier to see it than explain it. Just remember that the longer you make the cable by using the adjuster the more oil will be delivered and the shorter the less oil. I always make mine a little longer just to be safe. With todays oils ( I run Amsoil Synthetic) you should not have a fouling problem but if your sled is real smoky and you have it adjusted properly you could have an internal oil pump adjustment problem but that is very uncommon.
