I've never had to use a bleeder screw. Just remove the radiator cap and run the sled on a stand let it warm up (feel heat exchangers) add coolant as it goes down. About ten minutes ought to do it.

The bleeder screw is next to the banjo bolt on top of the head.
Mine is frozen solid in the head.
I loosen the banjo bolt to check for air.
I have never had any air trapped in the system.

The jipcee procedure works just fine.

My old dealer used to lift the back and front ends and rock the sled from side to side to clear any air pockets. There is a bleader on the top of the rear heat exchanger and yes you have to remove the seat. Personally if you work the sled as mentioned above and check for the exchanger getting warm you'll be fine.
