My 2300 mile 83. Looking forward to going through it this summer including the porting update, some Jeff Simon old school tuning and repop ski decals, etc.

Thanks, I'm excited to get it dialed in. A parts 83 Vmax that the guy gave me. Very rough and not restorable but is 100% complete...

Put about 25 miles on it the last couple days. Has a slight low end bog but hits hard in the mid range and pulls hard on top. Needs lots of love with a full fuel system tune up including tygon, fuel pump rebuilds and then correct exhaust springs and then some temp tuning. More to come...

Water pump gear case oil is milky as expected so need an 84-87 unit and or need to rebuild the 83 and hope for the best.
