Good deal ! Always makes one feel good to see positive results. As much as I enjoy wrenching......it always feels good to pull the trigger on a Max and listen to the rumble ! ! !

Not really sure what would be gained ? Certainly not throttle response or fuel mileage ? I can possibly see more fuel delivery and more precise metering with the roundslides on a highly modified 485. You could start with the 540 specifications and work your way from there ?

Good tips and info ! I also, have heard of laying the sled on it's side and using a heavy weight oil for removal ? I personally will continue to use a small amount of Never Seize before installation. I find way more parts are broken and ruined by over tightening as compared to being loose ?

Can you say Parts ? ! ? :( What a project and learning experience ! Maybe a seal was leaking ? Always a good idea to keep an eye on the gear case lube and antifreeze for cross containments ! Good luck !

Every Used T.S.S. sled I've bought the Knuckles and steel bushing are almost frozen or completely locked up and pivoting on the bolts ! I've bought sleds that the locked up joints won't even allow the springs to return let, alone the struts to work when hitting a bump. The T.S.S sleds have always go...
