Black/white stripe is the kill wire. If it is plugged to black anyhere you will have no spark. Black is ground.

Black/yellow strip is TORS. It needs to go to black to bypass.

A hard to find kit. Personally I never liked the looks of them.

The key, kill and tether switches almost never go bad and can be checked by simply unpluging them one by one and retesting for spark. Cheapest way to go faster is to jack up the radiator cap and drive a Vmax-4 under it. If the 540 it is proper tune and you still want more there is no bigger bang for the buck and still be riding a Vmax. The 540 is a great sled but mods are pricy and can be troublesome for trail.
