I have for sale a nice 1988 vmax 540 for sale. THE ENGINE HAS 2000kms on it thats it. It runs perfectly. It needs a windsheild but thats about it. Here is a video of it.

Pretty cool, all I need to fix mine up is two outside bearings and a piston cant find any NOS ones.

It competes with it on top sorta depending on the run, the vmax 540 rides like an old skylark but theyre so much damn fun!! Way too much power for that chassis but find a funner ride I challenge you..

My Dad would say bad for owners good for dealers and putting in hours for labour.

We raced the vmax 540 and exciter sx last night and the SX kinda smoked it. Im gonna get new plugs today and see if that changes anything. No compete off the bottom but will catch up in mid range and on top when the dual pipes kick in...

For sale I have a srx 500 bottom end bearings are ok. I have pictures comparing each 8M6 bottom end and the srx 500 bottom end with the big clutch side bearings.

The stamp under the crank case I bet is 8M6 on a srx 500

It had I believe a "1 98" inside the casting.

They say say 8m6 still but the cranks are different.......

What is the stamping on the srx 500 bottom end? 8R9?? I have a 8M6 bottom end with what looks like a vmax 540 crank in it but the crank doesnt fit the other 8M6 bottom end I have or the vmax 540 bottom. I was wondering if its the srx 500 bottom end.
