crankshafts
Tyler, I have a couple of bottom ends from ' 84 thru '87. The cranks are still in the cases. The bearings feel okay but...I don't suggest building upon them without splitting and doing seals. Actually when I go about it I will likely have the bearings replaced also. This costs bucks, but so do heads...

The cyl. just sits and sits upstairs in my parts bins. It kant go for free, but i'll try to make someone happy...

clutching da Vmax.
Boy, right now there is a heap of real good info about clutching coming across VVM. I'm copying every page, thanks everybody! If a guy is looking at a pile of Yam-Comet 102 weights, springs and shims, as I have, and has his hands on an EXP 108 overdrive which I used back in the mid nineties, then he...

Hey all, I was gonna write this note tomorrow but what the heck it's on my mind. I would like to know more about what you gear-head vmax guys are doing with your transmissions. I know that there are more than a few hy-per vmax'ers out there doing this stuff so come clean with me you guys. For hot tr...

Christo, needles stock: 6DH7?. Slide cutaways: 2.5.? I'm still not sure this is your problem., Maybe you got something else wrong, maybe? . What is your cyl. compression? injection vs no..
Over the years I 've developed a trust in Yammie's factory oil injection pumping-routing systems. Mainly because the sys. faithfully served so many original engine configurations, over so many models and years. If you are now looking at any changes to carb airflow, porting, overbore , or custom pipe...

I don't know, but I have a stripped down '84 with pretty good-straight body parts like you are looking for, you just have to change decals. I'm in Mi. also, maybe this will work? MJD.
