I got this engine at a swap a month ago at a swap meet and need to find out what year it is so I can order a master rebuild kit. Can anyone help me? Here's the case # 008H8
If this is not the number I will have to clean the engine a little and look again and where should the case numbers be.

I use a old electric hot plate and a skilt to heat up bearings to install on 4 stroke crank case's. If you take the crank and get it cold and the bearing hot they will slip right on!

How would I get hold of him? I need a long shaft. The shaft on the 540 engine I got for the ss440 is to short and I am needing to find one that is 2 inchs from the seal to the end of the shaft where the clutch slips on.

If he don't want it I will be next in line.
