Love the look of the aluminum skis. I like the looks of the earlier V-Max skis (rubber tipped). I even orderd several sets of those rubber ski tips. I know you can still get them through Yamaha. Brad

It is currently burried under other sled parts, .also theres a big snow storm on the way. Up to 20 inches between now and tomarow afternoon. I'm not looking to really make any money on this, but to unburry this just for a picture. I know this heat exchanger is in good shape and ready to run. Brad

Got back from my trip at around 7pm. Another 87 V-Max. I took some pictures, but It was a little late. I can tell I need to do some TLC to it, but the engine runs great. I think this is going to be my 87 Bender look alike. I will take pictures of it tomarow. Brad

I have a radiator for sale $25 I know their are some hoses sitting in the chassis. I don't know which one. I can get you the what ever heat exchanger you want, but I will have to charge to remove it from the chassis. Brad

True, true. Its just been sitting in one spot for abut 5 years now. I am on my way to pick up that other 87 tomarow morning. Its going to be around 12 round trip. Brad

I am on the verge of throwing my 83 Chassi in the dump. I have tried to give this thing away for more than a year. It still has the heat exchangers, fuel tank and cover. One strut and ski. Its Free. Brad

I think WE would ALL love to see some pictures of the 82 and know more about it. I have never seen one up close. I keep getting side tracked from completing my 87 V-Max's suspension. All I need to do is installl the new bearings and slides. I also have a new 1" track to install. Then move on to...

The stock Exciter carb once jetted works great. you may have to go two sizes in the main. I only went up one, unless you are running at temps around 0 or below. Also clutch work will be needed. You can have tons more power from the engine, but if yoy can't transports it to the track, what the use in...

The SRX pipes work great. No need to do much to the carb, but change the getting. Go one up on the main. You will need the flanges from an SRX. The AAEN pipe sounds nice, but I never notice a difference in preformance. With some clutching and gearing changes, you can make those sled sizzle. Brad

first off, fix the recoil. Then check the ignition. make sure it has fire. Then work form there. Brad
