Well everyone. this sled is going up for sale. i really dont want to but with 6 others in the garage one has to go. this machine needs nothing but a windshield. if intrested p.m. me could possibly work out a meeting place to save a drive?

that sounds about right to me about 1/2 to 1/4 tank left in the 3rd tank of gas is when my oil light comes on but you should easily get 3 tanks of gas per tank of oil.

i.m.o. you NEED the thermostat installed to PROPERLY warm the engine, with the t-stat removed it over cools and causes cold sieze conditions depending on the coolant mixture,jetting outside temp. i used a 140deg t-stat and drilled a .015 hole in it to remove air bubbles i have never had it go over 1...

just my 2 cents here. i would try to add like a teaspoon full of #30 oil into each cylinder,pull it over slowly a couple times ,put fresh plugs in it then try to start. is the fuel fresh? i would be EXTREMLY careful using starting fluid.this could dry out the cylinder leading to much worse issues! g...

the jugs are interchangeable, there should be no problems.
