I think I have solved my problem it wasn't ignition at all the PTO side carb had a leaky needle and seat valve it was leaking past the red washers flooding that side even when riding so far 10km and its good

I have alot of vmax parts & was wondering how much work is involved with putting a 540 in a srx.

The side panels are a medium black.My 89 also has the flakes in the paint aswell.

Is there any diffrence between the 108c & 108exp clutch & has anyone ever tried one on a vmax.I have been looking for a new clutch & a exp is all i have been able to find.

I was at the local dealer today(can)& they told me oem pistons are not avalible.Can you still get them in the USA?? I live close to the boarder so it wouldn't be a problem getting them thanks guys.

I was riding this morning and all the sudden the clutch would not disengage so I rode it back the shop & found out & found a small peice of the spider broke away by the roller.Anyone know why this would happen? Thank goodness for spare clutches.
