whats the ceramic block on the top of the airbox for
On top of the airbox is what appears to be a porcelain or ceramic block with 2 wires going to it, Is this for handle bar heaters .

probably a faulty thermostat! just remove it and make sure you warm up the engine before you drive it hard 3 to 5 mnutes, and check the antifreeze with a tester to make sure the mixture is right. i,m wondering if maybe a float has a hole in it ? Or the float pins in the carbs some times need a good cleaning, The pin holes in the floats get gummed up i use a piece of wire to kinda scrape them out . Just a thought!
